NEW GICHD PUBLICATIONThe Mechanical Demining Equipment Catalogue 2010 provides the humanitarian mine action community with a comprehensive overview of the equipment available at the moment on the market. All assets used for humanitarian demining must have proven reliability and the decision about which assets to employ is a key element in planning demining operations. The award was announced in the Australia Day Honours List on 26 January 2010, and the citation for the award to Sheree states: "For service to humanitarian aid through the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, and through programs assisting survivors". This exceptional and well-deserved award draws attention to the vital work performed by Sheree and others in the service of landmine survivors. |
